The Henitentiary holds between 2 and 15 chickens, depending on breed size and temperament.
It is easy for one person to move across most terrain on 20" flat free wheels.
1" welded wire on the floor of the coop allows waste to fall through, allowing you to spread fertilization across your yard/field, and keeps the coop cleaner for your flock.
Upgrades on this coop:
- Hinged, opening roof for easy access to your flock and hosing out the inside.
- Three roll out nest boxes. A covered egg tray keeps eggs clean and protected from egg-eaters. Exterior-only access means no hens roosting in the boxes at night.
- An automatic solar door.
- The batteries of the automatic door are recharged via an included solar panel. The door can be programmed to open and close at specific light levels, certain times of day, or a combination of both.
