Quail coop

This freestanding quail coop is designed for ease of care and secure shelter for 10 adult quail (at 1 square foot of space per bird).
The enclose coop is ~2x2 feet square, with a solid plywood bottom, a short barrier at the small door to keep bedding contained, and a large door that swings outward to open one entire side to make it easy to clean out. A hasp on the top keeps the door locked (it's recommended to use a locking carabiner to secure).
The small door (between the coop and the run) has an included slide-out partition to be used to isolate each side, so you can contain your birds on one side while you clean the other. When the two sides are open to each other, the handle of the partition fits in the slot to keep predators out.
The run of the coop is entirely closed in 1/2" hardware cloth, held in place securely with fencing staples. The run doors open up, independently of each other. They are secured with a coupler pin through two screw eyes. The coupler pin is attached to the coop with braided wire, so you don't have to worry about it getting misplaced.
The coop and run are ~13" tall, on 35" legs, for a total height of ~48"
